Erik Louis Robert is an artist and filmmaker based in Atlanta, GA. Erik has over 35 credits as a Production Designer, Art Director, Assistant Art Director and Set Designer. His films have premiered at Sundance, TIFF, Tribeca and New York Film Festivals. Erik's art seeks to tell positive stories of human resilience, joy and connection to help people find hope and meaning in the face of challenging times.

Erik has built dozens of worlds, bringing a range of stories to life, from a ghost-filled mansion for

The Haunting of Hill House, a zombie apocalypse on The Walking Dead, a 1930s Mississippi sharecroppers village on The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray, the underground culture of fraternity pledging for Burning Sands, a Korean War battlefield for Devotion, a Marine bootcamp for The Inspection, to most recently a futuristic dystopian world on Landscape with Invisible Hand, and a Vietnamese village on The Sympathizer.

Prior to film, Erik played Division 1 soccer for St. Marys College of California, Professional soccer for Chivas USA Reserves and trialed with 4th Division Bundesliga teams throughout North Germany.  25 years of playing, and 5 years of coaching, trained Erik to be an excellent collaborator, approaching every team he works on with a spirit of unity, problem solving, discipline and mental toughness.

In 2014, Erik graduated from The American Film Institute with a Masters of Fine Arts in Production Design. Erik has had the opportunity to work with some of the top Production Designers in the world, with a goal of killing the game and absorbing as much knowledge as he can; with a continuation of growth as the mission.

Erik was born and raised in Inglewood, CA, where his family has lived for three generations since migrating from New Orleans. Erik is the son of a public school teacher and a corner store owner.

Erik's upbringing instilled within him a profound love and respect for people and the places they live, and a deep knowing that for all things, it takes a village.
